The standard bin caddy is light weight, easy to manouver and will carry 1 X small and 1 X large garbage bin with ease. The design of the bin caddy centres around a balance point. By applying a very limited amount of force, the caddy will quite easily lift 1 or 2 bins at the same time without any trouble. There is also no problem with the weight of both bins together. The axle width has been designed to give maximum stability and also ensuring the unit is still small enough to store easily and quickly.
The attached illustration demonstrates the small bin attachment. You can see there is no handling of the rubbish bin at any point. The caddy slides easily under the base of the bin, the locking device locks onto the handle and away you go. The design of the caddy reduces the weight of the bin by approximately 60% requiring little effort to menouvere.
The standard bin caddy is our base model and is a hand operated caddy only.
Yes, the caddy is operated very easily by children and the elderly.
